The Nuclear Power Debate

I am currently working on an informative piece that explores the dangers of nuclear power versus other forms of power generation.  The debate over nuclear power has been ongoing for decades; its intensity has increased over the past few years with the greater focus on climate change, and has taken a new direction with the recent disaster in Japan.  It is a complex issue, but basically the debate comes down to a question of whether society is willing to accept a very small chance of major, immediate disaster in order to avoid the near-certain but less immediately noticeable disaster of global climate change.  There are pros and cons to both sides of the debate, and I will post my paper when it is finished!
